Description
Our 3 phase High Pressure Separator is designed specifically for the oil & gas industries. This separator excels in the efficient separation of liquids and gases, handling common fluids such as water, glycol, and natural gas. It is crafted from duplex stainless steel alloy, ensuring reliable performance across diverse mediums.
Beyond its primary function of liquid-gas separation, the separator safeguards downstream equipment like compressors and flow meters. Its advanced design effectively removes gas from liquids, making it indispensable in optimizing operational efficiency and equipment longevity.
It can function as a stand-alone unit or in combination with a surge tank, enhancing the reliability of high-quality flow measurements.
The 3-phase test separator typically features a vessel equipped with an oil flow-measuring system (single or dual meters), a gas flow-measuring system, multiple sampling points for each effluent phase, and two relief valves to prevent overpressure. Additionally, most separators are equipped to measure water flow rate.
For precise measurements, the separator is fitted with pneumatic regulators that maintain constant pressure and liquid level inside the vessel through control valves on the oil and gas outlets.
